It was a warm Sunday afternoon in Maryland at the Sheraton where family and friends gathered for the launch of Booshey, a unique catering experience with a personal touch. Booshey is the brainchild of Laaureni Ajayi-Obe, a gifted young woman with a passion for making people smile and feel good. The event was held to serve as a showcase of what Booshey has to offer by way of cakes, desserts and fruit arrangements. The launch was the opportunity for those in attendance to sample the delectable treats that would be available tot he general public. Fruit jars stuffed with grapes, strawberries, blueberries and red velvet cakes were a hit with guests. Red velvet cakes were also readily available to be enjoyed by the patrons in attendance. The chatter in the room was overwhelmingly positive with regards to the food and the presentation of the products. Several persons were given the opportunity to win fruit baskets by way of random drawings and questions relating the Booshey brand.

A special couple in attendance were gifted a wedding cake for their special day. The Bride to be was asked to describe how she was proposed to just prior to the announcement. in a emotional address to those present Laurent explained that Booshey was branded based on her maiden name being given a French twist. She explained that after going through some personal struggles she decided to persevere with the project.  Special thanks was also given to those instrumental in making Booshey a reality through their support, love and encouragement. I  was tasked with the responsibility of providing event coverage for the launch and also providing soem additional product photography that will be used for the website www.booshey.com. The love and encouragement was at times overwhelming which helped me to work with ease.
